Oversized Regular Collar Shirt by Kardo.

A relaxed long-sleeve shirt made from khadi, a hand-spun and handwoven organic cotton fabric produced for Kardo by Udyog Bharti.

The fabric is then passed to Md. Ashraf, a master embroiderer from Bengal, who works by hand using traditional ari chain stitch. The embroidery is built slowly across each individual fabric panel before the shirt is assembled, allowing the pattern to move naturally with the texture of the khadi rather than sitting on top of a finished garment.

The combination of hand-spun cloth and hand embroidery gives every piece its own small variations and character.
