Elastic Waist Trousers with Reverse Pleat by Kardo.

Relaxed cotton trousers with an elasticated waist and reverse pleat, made in a textured extra-weft fabric.

The cloth is woven on semi-automatic looms using an extra-weft technique, where the pattern is created directly as the fabric is being made. Contrasting threads are guided through the weft to form raised, brick-like motifs across the surface rather than being added afterwards.

The yarns are dyed with industrial indigo for a deep, even colour. The slightly raised weave catches the light along its edges, giving the fabric noticeable depth, texture and shadow.
